OK everyone I've got some great news!!!!
I found some Rad-Air Tankers in the 172cm size!!!!
There are only a few, so get on 'em if you need 'em.I'm also working on a deal to bring some Virus snowboards into the US. If everything goes according to plan I'll have them before the end of January. Let me know if you're interested and I'll hook you up with some prices and photos. PS I'm giving a 10% discount on the price for people that order and pay before they ship. I'm hopefully getting both used and new, so I'm hoping to make the boards available to all price ranges! A couple months ago I bought a used Tanker 172. I think its 2 years old. Black. 1 swooshy silver line. raised lettering in red some yellow. You know the one, right?
I thought I needed it since it was the Dani Kiwi model, and thought I'd ride it someday. I am in love with my 200s and thought the 172 is too small now.
I've been riding it primarily the last 3 days in a row here at Mt Hood. We've had shallow powder conditions 3-7" then some settling of the snow. And another 3-7"
The board has to be the best all-around board in these conditions that I've had. It has been performing outstanding on the groomers and the pow. The snow has been wet at times too. And it blasts through areas of snow somewhat like my 200. I have been really enjoying it in the low angle tree runs. I am really having a ball on it and am very happy to have added it to the quiver.
